Set Up Your Zoom Account

This 5 minutes guide will guide you set up your Zoom account for User Feedback

First of all, if you don’t have a premium account for Zoom- apply for a Jira ticket from, the IT dept.

Basic Settings:

Go to Settings:

Now choose the Recording Option:

In the Recording settings, make sure you click on those boxes:

Now you will receive Recording and Audio Script for each meeting and Highlights of the meeting.

How to be a Host of a meeting that I don’t create?

Enter the Zoom meeting

Click on the “Participants tab”

In the left bottom, you will see an option to “Claim Host”

Put the “Host Key” in the box

You are the meeting host now

How do I know my Host Key?

Go to Profile in your Zoom account

Go to the Meeting options

Click on the eye icon to reveal your Host Key

How to Record the Zoom meeting?

Click on the “record” option at the bottom of the Zoom meeting screen- just next to the “Share Screen” button

Choose the “Record to the Cloud” option

The meeting is now recording

A couple of minutes after the meeting will end, you will receive 2 emails from Zoom- one with the Recording and one with the Audio Script of the meeting

How do I cancel the code for the recording?

Go to Settings:

Now choose the Recording Option:

Turn off the “Require passcode to access shared cloud recordings” option
